The Migration Gravel Race was the crown jewel of Pho3nix Club Tour events in 2024.

A four-day stage race in the wilds of the Maasai Mara during the annual wildebeest migration, it was no simple feat to accomplish. Each day dawned with about a hundred kilometres of cycling and 1,000 metres of climbing across hard-packed gravel, or black clay mud if it was wet – a course so tough it beat two-time Tour de France cyclist Nick Gates down by only the second day, with two stages still to go.

Pho3nix founder Sebastian Kulczyk set the standard through healthy competition with Mana Group chairman Wojtek Kruczynski, inspiring fellow racers with his never-give-up attitude that saw them race against the clock and cut-off to finish what he had set out to do. It also set the tone for four-time triathlon world champion and Mana Group executive chairman Chris McCormack and dual Olympic silver medalist in cross-country cycling Maja Wloszczowska as they persevered through bike mechanicals.

Proceeds from the Pho3nix Club Tour to the Migration Gravel Race go toward funding the valuable work done around the world by the Pho3nix Foundation.
